About Us

Founded in 2019, Castlebridge Holding, Inc. is a family-owned mining and trading enterprise with an expanding portfolio in Guyana and Zimbabwe. With our small team of professionals, we are recognized for our expertise and have built a reputation as a trusted partner in the Guyanese mining industry. We are proud to specialize in sustainable and ethical mining practices.

Our mission is to extract high-quality minerals responsibly, minimizing our impact on the environment. Our values include safety, transparency, and community.

Our Process

At Castlebridge Holding, Inc., we're committed to conducting our mining operations safely and responsibly. We take a rigorous approach to small-scale open pit mining, which involves excavating large quantities of rock and minerals from the earth's surface.

Our process begins with geological examinations and the preparation of the site. We clear away vegetation and any other obstacles that may impede our work. We then use heavy equipment to remove the top layers of soil and rock, exposing the minerals and other materials beneath.

As we begin excavating, we carefully monitor the stability of the pit walls. Rockfall hazards are a real concern in open pit mining, but we take precautions to prevent them. Our catch benches act as a buffer, catching any rocks or debris that may come loose and preventing them from falling into the pit. This helps to keep our workers and equipment safe from harm.

Another potential risk in open pit mining is slope failure. To avoid this, we use sophisticated slope monitoring technology to track the stability of the pit walls in real-time. Our team of experts analyzes the data collected by these monitoring systems and takes action to reinforce the pit walls if needed, minimizing the risk of slope failure. Throughout the mining process, we place a strong emphasis on safety. We provide our workers with comprehensive training and equip them with the latest safety gear and equipment. We also conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure that our operations are up to the highest standards of safety.

Safety

Safety is our top priority at Castlebridge Holding, Inc. We take every measure to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors, and stakeholders. We have strict safety policies and procedures in place, and our team is trained to prioritize safety in every aspect of our operations. Our team does not work night hours and are fully protected from Amazonian predators, such as jaguars and snakes. We regularly review our safety policies and procedures and follow safe mining practices, as per the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission, to ensure that they are up-to-date and effective.

Sustainability

We understand that our operations can have an impact on the environment, and we take our responsibility to protect it very seriously. We work closely with the local communities and government authorities to nsure that our operations are sustainable. Responsible mining is not only good for the environment, but also for the communities we closely work with. We have made significant investments in equipment and technologies to minimize our carbon footprint and reduce waste.

Trucking

At Castlebridge Holding, Inc., we're more than just a mining company. Our trucking services are a crucial part of supporting our mining operations and the local communities in which we operate.

Our fleet of trucks is equipped to traverse the difficult terrain of the Amazon, regularly traveling 180 miles from Georgetown, through mud, jungle, and torrential rains, to our mine. Our drivers are experienced and knowledgeable about the routes they travel, ensuring that supplies, equipment, and materials arrive safely and on time.

In addition to supporting our own mining operations, we also offer our trucking services to other mining companies in the area, as well as to local villages. We understand that transportation can be a major challenge in remote areas like the Amazon, and we're committed to helping our neighbors and fellow businesses overcome those challenges.
